My Journey Begins
Nearly three decades ago, I embarked on a holistic journey in the natural healing arts, seeking education and certification in Advanced Herbology, Nutrition, and Iridology.
Once certified, I practiced at a healing centre in Wetaskiwin and Morinville until the unexpected diagnosis of cancer in my youngest daughter.
My practice was put on hold for 20 years, nurturing my daughter back to health and supporting a well known fundraising event my family initiated, Hair Massacure, raising millions in support of children with cancer.
Next Steps
In 2018, my role with the event scaled back significantly. I upgraded my certification in Nutrition and delved back into working with herbs and whole foods.
Spring 2024 offered an opportunity to upgrade my education in Iridology and Sclerology where I enrolled with the International Iridology Practitioners Association.
Currently I practice part time at Healthy Solutions, located in beautiful downtown St Albert, offering insight into health and nutrition. High quality images taken of the iris and sclera can reveal various health conditions, strengths and genetics.
A Sweet Side Gig
Those ‘many hats’ mentioned earlier include a chefs hat as I work part-time as a certified Chocolate Maker and Chocolatier, creating all-natural, bean-to-bar chocolate with organic beans and sugar. For five years I have worked professionally from my home perfecting my craft and selling my bars and bonbons online, in local stores and markets. My bars can also be purchased at the same place where I practice Iridology, Healthy Solutions.
Not Just Hats, a Belt Too!
Years ago, I acquired a 2nd degree blackbelt in Karate. I believe in walking the walk when it comes to a health-conscious mindset by I keeping active, eating well and living a healthy lifestyle.
